Good to know

Care can extend the life of plated and pearl jewelry, but wear naturally varies by moisture, storage, friction, skin chemistry, and frequency of use.

Daily Wear

Put jewelry on after fragrance, lotion, sunscreen, and hair products have dried. Remove pieces before bathing, swimming, exercising, cleaning, or sleeping when friction and moisture are more likely.

  • Apply body products first, then jewelry.
  • Remove rings before repeated hand washing when possible.
  • Avoid wearing plated pieces during high-friction activity.

Moisture

Prolonged moisture can affect plating, pearls, stones, and adhesives used in some settings. If a piece becomes damp, dry it with a soft cloth before storing it.

  • Avoid pools, hot tubs, salt water, and steam.
  • Do not soak pearls or plated pieces.
  • Let jewelry dry fully before closing a pouch or box.

Storage

Store pieces separately in a dry pouch or lined compartment to reduce scratching, tangling, and finish wear. Fasten necklace clasps before storage to help prevent knots.

  • Separate pearls from sharper metal pieces.
  • Keep chains fastened and flat.
  • Avoid storage in bathrooms or damp rooms.

Cleaning

Use a dry soft cloth for routine cleaning. Avoid soaking, ultrasonic cleaning, abrasive polish, alcohol, bleach, and harsh jewelry dips unless the material is confirmed compatible.

  • Wipe after wear to remove oils and residue.
  • Do not scrub pearl surfaces.
  • Use gentle pressure around stones and settings.

When To Ask For Help

If a clasp, setting, pearl, or plated surface changes unexpectedly, review the product page and return policy, then contact customer care with the product name and photos when relevant.

  • Include the product name and page URL.
  • Describe how the piece was worn and stored.
  • Do not send payment details in a care request.
